Lawyer from the University of Concepción and Master in Law with specialization in Public Law from the same university. Former Titular Minister of the first Environmental Court, with seat in the city of Antofagasta, between 2017 and 2023, being its president between 2019 and 2021, where he was responsible for the installation and implementation of such specialized court with jurisdiction in the northern macro zone of the country.

In the public sector, he worked as Municipal Legal Advisor, Internal Comptroller in the Housing and Urbanism Service of the Maule Region and as a lawyer in the Legal Division of the Environmental Assessment Service.

In the private sector he worked as a legal specialist in the Environmental and Water Resources Management of Arcadis Chile. Managing partner in the legal consulting firm Ambientabogados.

In the academic field, he teaches Environmental Law and Natural Resources Law at U. Católica del Norte, U. de Antofagasta and U. Santo Tomás.
