Lawyer, Master in Business Law LLM from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and Master (c) in Environmental Law from the Universidad de Chile. He has more than 18 years of solid experience as legal advisor in Environmental, Commercial and Public Procurement Law. He has an outstanding career in senior executive management and corporate governance positions, having been a member of Boards of Directors and Committees of Directors of state-owned companies, as a member of the Board of Directors of ENAP Refinerías, a subsidiary of Empresa Nacional del Petróleo and member of the Board of Directors and the Audit Committee of BANCOESTADO, a period in which he was distinguished by the English publication-ranking of lawyers The Legal 500 in the finance category.

He has held public positions in the Ministries of Mining, Justice, General Secretariat of Government and Senate of the Republic and, in the private sector, as an associate lawyer of the Law Firm MBCIA, specializing in Customs, Administrative and International Trade Law.

At the international level, he has advised the Andean Parliament in matters of legislative harmonization and has been a member of business delegations on Trade Missions to countries in North America, Europe and Asia Pacific, participating as an academic and lecturer in matters of his specialty.
